PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing apparatus capable of suppressing costs and promptly displaying a zoom-in video.SOLUTION: A photographing apparatus is constituted by including: first input means to which a first video signal obtained by photographing a first area including a subject is input; second input means which is remotely operated by a drive unit and to which an optical zoom video acquired by a camera capable of performing optical zoom photography of an arbitrary area of the first area is input as a second video signal; information input means to which information on a second area including the subject in the first area is input; update means for updating the second area so that the subject is located approximately at the center of the second area according to a motion of the subject of the first video signal; video acquisition means for performing digital zoom-in processing of the second updated area to acquire a digital zoom video of the second area; control means for controlling the drive unit so as to perform the optical zoom photography of the second area by the camera to output an optical zoom video of the second area as a second video signal; and output means for selecting either of the digital zoom video or the optical zoom video to be output. |
