COLORING COMPOSITION AND COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coloring composition which prevents discoloration due to light irradiation under conditions without oxygen and exhibits excellent reliability, and a color filter using the same.SOLUTION: The coloring composition contains a pigment (A), and a resin (B) which is prepared by copolymerization of at least a polymerizable monomer (b1) represented by the general formula (1) and another polymerizable monomer. The amount of components derived from the polymerizable monomer (b1) represented by the general formula (1) is 56 wt.% or more of the total solid of the resin (B). The general formula (1) is represented by CH-O-C(=O)-C(-R)=CH, where n is equal to 4 and R is H or CH.
