PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an SIMD (Single Instruction-stream Multiple Data-stream) type microprocessor for reducing the power consumption of a processor element by adding a few circuits, and for improving the operating efficiency of the processor element.SOLUTION: In an SIMD type microprocessor 2 including: a plurality of PE (Processor Elements) 3 each of which has a T register 26 capable of setting its own operational conditions from an arithmetic result; and a GP (Global Process) 4 for outputting a control signal corresponding to the PE 3, each PE 3 includes a control signal switcher 40 for outputting a signal for putting the inside in a non-operational state, and for stopping a clock signal to be supplied to the inside on the basis of the T register 26. |
