PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band saw device capable of speedily raising a band saw head with a small force.SOLUTION: A band saw device 1 includes a vise bed 2 supporting a workpiece W, a band saw head 3 connected to the vise bed 2 in a freely tiltable manner, to which an annular band saw 4 is attached, a movable part 10 moving interlockingly with a tilt of the band saw head 3, a hydraulic cylinder 20, in which a cylindrical body 21 is connected to the vise bed 2 and a front end part 22a of a rod 22 abuts on the movable part 10, and an elastic member 30 urging the rod 22 to the movable part 10 side. When the band saw head 3 is lowered, the movable part 10 is moved to the cylindrical body 21 side to move the front end part 22a of the rod 22 to the cylindrical body 21 side. When the band saw head 3 is raised, the movable part 10 is moved to a direction away from the cylindrical body 21 prior to the front end part 22a of the rod 22. |
