PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for preventing a breakage accident caused by a failure to house a bridging body to a transport vehicle by an extremely simple means without providing additional equipment to equipment for loading the transport vehicle with a load such as petroleum fuel, and a breakage preventing method by the apparatus.SOLUTION: An apparatus for preventing the breakage of a bridging body 40 to a transport vehicle is provided at a loading facility to the transport vehicle to prevent a failure to house a bridging body 10 laid from the loading facility to the transport vehicle, after the end of loading work. The apparatus includes a lock mechanism 1 provided between the bridging body 10 and a part of the loading facility or between two points in the bridging body that approach in the housed state of the bridging body and move away when the transport vehicle is laid, and unlocked when the bridging body 40 is laid to the transport vehicle to impede the removal of a lock release key while being locked when the bridging body 40 is housed in the loading facility to permit the removal of the lock release key; and the lock release key integrated with an automobile key of the transport vehicle. |
