PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating/recovering and detoxifying process impurities, allowing the insolubilization of arsenic, selenium or the like contained in a process residue/deposit generated in a process of recovering molybdenum or vanadium from a used desulfurization catalyst.SOLUTION: An insolubilizing agent for soil used in soil is used to a process residue and/or a deposit having a high content of arsenic, selenium or the like generated in a process of recovering molybdenum or vanadium from a used catalyst containing organic metal. Arsenic or selenium contained in the process residue or the deposit is immobilized inside a crystal structure of a component contained in the insolubilizing agent for soil or inside a crystal structure formed by mixing the insolubilizing agent for soil, and can be insolubilized. Then, a situation can be suppressed where arsenic, selenium or the like is eluted from the process residue or the deposit even if using a raw material having a high concentration of arsenic or selenium in the process, so that an allowable range of the toxic substance quality management of a received raw material can be expanded. |
