PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cabinet for a kitchen that reliably prevents stored objects from jumping out even when a disaster with a shake such as an earthquake occurs, eliminates the arrangement of a door opening/closing means in an internal storage space, and enables use without specially being aware of the door opening/closing means in daily use.SOLUTION: A cabinet for a kitchen includes a door opening/closing means arranged at one end of a door, which includes: a turn lever to be operated by a user; a turn piece to be interlocked with the turn lever; lock pieces to be interlocked with the turn piece; and an energization means arranged in the turn piece. A swelling part arranged in a frame part for storing the door includes a lock piece receiver to be engageable with the lock pieces. The door cannot be opened by the engagement of the lock pieces with the lock piece receiver. When the turn lever is depressed in a door movable direction, the engagement of the lock pieces with the lock piece receiver is released. Thus, the door is allowed to be movable. |
