PURPOSE: A micro porous polyolefin composite film is provided to be able to improve the safety, durability and reliability of a battery by heat-sealing the edge of the micro porous film formed with a coating layer including polymer binder and inorganic particles. CONSTITUTION: A micro porous polyolefin composite film includes a coating layer including polymer binder and inorganic particles on one side or both sides of a micro porous polyolefin film. The coating layer is formed to be separated by a predetermined width from the edge circumference line of the micro porous polyolefin film. A portion of the separated part is thermally sealed. The area of the coating layer is 100-150% of the cathode plate area. The width of the heat sealing section is 0.5-50 nm from the edge circumference line of the micro porous polyolefin film.
