PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a derricking breakwater device having improved standing sensibility for the anaseism and backwash of a tsunami or the like, so that damages due to a tsunami or the like can be reduced.SOLUTION: A derricking breakwater device can be swung between a fallen position D and a standing position. An underside 11d of a door body 11 in contact with a water bottom pavement member 12 has an approximately arcuate or approximately trapezoidal shape in a side view between one end 11a to receive the wave force in anaseism direction a and the other end 11b to receive the wave force in backwash direction b. A top face 12a of the water bottom pavement member 12 opposite to the lower face 11d of the door body 11 has an approximately arcuate or approximately trapezoidal shape in the upward direction in a side view at least in the anaseism direction a side.
