PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for supplying fluid carbon dioxide in an energy-saving and efficient manner.SOLUTION: An apparatus 100 for supplying fluid carbon dioxide includes a circulation system and a carbon dioxide introduction part 11 that introduces carbon dioxide into the circulation system as a raw material or recovered gas. The circulation system has: a purification part 10 that removes impurities and contaminants from the carbon dioxide; a storage part 12 equipped with a condenser 22 that converts gaseous carbon dioxide, which has gone through the purification part 10, into liquid carbon dioxide; a supply part 13 that supplies the liquid carbon dioxide from the storage part 12 to a use point 200; and a return line 28 that returns excessive carbon dioxide, which has been supplied from the supply part 13 but not used at the use point 200, to the storage part 12. The carbon dioxide introduction part 11 has a pump 16 that increases the pressure of the carbon dioxide so as to introduce the carbon dioxide into the circulation system. |
