PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately restore from an instantaneous stop of power supply while reducing a control load in game control.SOLUTION: A user program (software) can switch between start and stop of a watchdog timer according to a predetermined bit value in reset-setting of a ROM. When power starts to be supplied, it is determined whether a power interruption signal is on before an access to a RAM is allowed (step S25). When it is determined that a power interruption signal is on (step S25: Yes), the watchdog timer is started following shift to a standby state for executing endless loop processing repeatedly (step S26), so that a reset action is made valid by the generation of time out. Monitoring time measured by the watchdog timer can be set from among a plurality of preset kinds, and is set to the longest time that can be set. |
