PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when re-layout processing is performed to a document in which document information is held in a hierarchical structure by filling the blank part of original page data, the hierarchical structure collapses.SOLUTION: The document processing method includes: a hierarchical structure determination step (1003) of determining a relation between original data and a hierarchical structure; and a re-layout control step (1005) of skipping re-layout processing. When it is determined that the re-layout processing is performed beyond the partial tree of the hierarchical structure by the hierarchical structure determination step (1003), the re-layout processing is skipped by the re-layout control step (1005). |
