PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly determine photographing conditions.SOLUTION: A camera 100 comprises: an imaging device which outputs image signals corresponding to a subject; subject region detection means which detects a main subject region from an image generated by the image signals; image signal reading means which reads, from the imaging device, image signals in a range including the main subject region detected by the subject region detection means, the range narrower than a range representing the image; and photographing condition determination means which determines the photographing conditions on the basis of the image signals read by the image signal reading means. |
