PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a working machine from stopping and a product from being broken by generation of a scrap, to reduce the load of an operator, and to shorten the working time.SOLUTION: In a scrap detection method for detecting a scrap beforehand, the scrap being the remainder of punching from a worked member by a working machine, using parts NC data of the worked member and product shape data stored in a storage means, the parts NC data of the worked member and mold information are acquired, punch shapes and coordinates of respective predetermined units of the NC data are calculated from the parts NC data of the worked member and the mold information acquired, the punch shapes of the respective predetermined units are worked out, the punch shapes of the predetermined units worked out are registered in scrap check data, the scrap check data allocated for a predetermined unit newly registered are merged to the scrap check data already registered, whether an inner hole isolated by punching exists or not is determined based on merge data obtained, and thereby the scrap is detected beforehand. |
