PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information transmission system and an information transmission method that enable efficient information transmission in tune with the state of a network.SOLUTION: An information transmission system comprises: a transmission device for transmitting information via a communication line network; and a receiving device for receiving the information via the communication line network. The transmission device transmits data block by block to the receiving device, and the receiving device transmits a reception completion response when reception of one block is completed to the transmission device. The transmission device measures a response time which is a time from starting transmission of a block to receiving the reception completion response, and sets data length per block to be transmitted next on the basis of the response time. |
