PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique providing a system for a display device which is easy for a user to handle.SOLUTION: When a sensor 88 in a remote controller 80 detects an operation, an analysis unit 52 in an operation prediction unit 50 predicts the user's next operation by referring to a state storage unit 54 and a reference table 56 on the basis of the result of the detection by the sensor 88. Furthermore, the analysis unit 52 instructs a main controller 12 and an OSD generator 34 to display on a screen an icon relating to the next operation on the basis of the result of the prediction. The user is capable of quickly performing a desired operation by operating the displayed icon using an arrow button etc. of the remote controller 80. |
