PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembling method of a final reduction gear which can be surely and easily performed and a tool using the assembling method.SOLUTION: Disclosed is an assembling method of a final reduction gear 1 which includes a differential case 30, a taper roller bearing 80, a housing 50, and a shim 90 and further includes an outer fitting part 51 composed of a combination of a first outer fitting part 61 of a first housing 60 and a second outer fitting part 71 of a second housing 70. The assembling method includes a tool mounting step of mounting a tool 200 on a boss part 32 by screwing a protrusion bar 230 onto an oil guiding groove 35 and pressing the shim 90 down onto the taper roller bearing 80 by the tool 200, a housing combining step of combining the first outer fitting part 61 and the second outer fitting part 71 to constitute the outer fitting part 51, externally fitting the outer fitting part 51 onto the taper roller bearing 80, and sandwiching the shim 90 with the outer fitting part 51 and the taper roller bearing 80, and a tool dismounting step of removing the tool 200 is removed from a boss part 32. |
