PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recognition device, an image recognition method, and an image recognition program that enable improvement of efficiency of image recognition.SOLUTION: An image recognition device (e.g., a camera ECU 1 as an example of the image recognition device) comprises: an image acquisition unit 12 that acquires an image; and an object recognition unit 13 that calculates a gradient direction and a gradient amount of luminance of the image acquired by the image acquisition unit 12, calculates a rectangle feature amount for the calculated gradient amount in each gradient direction while scanning a window, and recognizes a target object by a discriminator on the basis of the rectangle feature amount. |
