PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust detector for detecting dust in an image, and to provide a camera, a program, and a recording medium.SOLUTION: The dust detector comprises: detection means (102) which detects specific positions or ranges (18, 20, 22, 28) designated by a user, within image data (50) displayed by display means (10); range determination means (104) which determines detection ranges (24, 26, 28) on the basis of the specific positions or ranges (18, 20, 22, 28) detected by the detection means (102); and dust detection means (108) which performs dust detection by processing image data positioned within the detection ranges (24, 26, 28) determined by the range determination means (104). |
