PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deformation of a recording medium and deterioration of quality of recorded matter in recording to the recording medium wound into a roll even when the recording medium is retreated in an inside of a recording apparatus for a long time.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording apparatus for carrying out recording by discharging ink to a recording medium rolled out from roll paper includes: a measurement means for measuring a temperature and humidity of the recording apparatus; an identifying means for identifying a type of the recording medium; a winding-back means for conveying the recording medium to the inside of the recording apparatus and winding back an end of the recording medium; a pinching means for pinching the recording medium in the inside of the recording apparatus, and a calling means for calling the temperature and the humidity measured by the measurement means and time based on the type of the recording medium identified by the identifying means from a storage means storing the time capable of pinching the recording medium after being wound back by the winding-back means. Pinching of the recording medium is released when the time called by the calling means is longer than the time from pinching of the recording medium by the pinching means. |
