PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a hollow fiber membrane module constituted so that the cut surface of a hollow yarn membrane module intermediate including a casing or the like becomes an improved state, and a manufacturing apparatus.SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing a hollow fiber membrane module including a process of cutting a predetermined length part of one end of a cylindrical casing 10 having a hollow fiber membrane bundles comprising a large number of hollow fiber membranes fixed to the bottom part by a fixing resin along the cutting surface containing the side wall of the cylindrical casing, the fixing resin and the hollow fiber membrane bundles by a cutting means, the cutting means is an up and down movable blade 30 and the cutting of the predetermined length part in the cutting process is constituted by the cutting of a plurality of cuttings by the blade. |
