PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the risk of being in the situation where a plant is difficult to control, by installing a plurality of plant control devices at remote places from the plant and performing remote monitoring control via a network.SOLUTION: A plant control system includes: a plurality of plants A, B, M; a plurality of control devices 1, 2, N for each of the plants; plant control operation devices 31, 32, 33 giving control operation instruction to the control devices; a network 80 connecting the device group; and a plant centralization device 40 for performing centralized control of he components. The plurality of control devices 1, 2, N and the plant control operation devices 31, 32, 33 are installed in remote areas separated from the installation places of the plants A, B, M, and control remotely the plants to be controlled via the network from the remote areas. The plant control operation instruction by the plant control operation devices 31, 32, 33 imposes access limitation that it is limited to an operator. When a trouble occurs in one control device, the other control device is substituted therefor. |
