PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply acquire congestion information.SOLUTION: A sensor device in a first vehicle includes a data reception section, a radar transmission section, a radar reception section, a calculation section and a data transmission section. The data reception section receives a measurement request for requesting the measurement of a congestion length on a first lane. The radar transmission section and the radar reception section perform transmission of a radar signal wave to a vehicle to be a transmission source of the measurement request and reception of a reflected wave of the radar signal wave. The calculation section calculates a second distance to be a distance from a starting point vehicle up to the first vehicle. The second distance is a value determined from a first distance to be a distance from the starting point vehicle notified in the measurement request up to the vehicle to be a transmission source, a distance from the vehicle to be a transmission source up to the first vehicle and the length of the first vehicle. When the data transmission section is located on the first lane and cannot communicate with a second vehicle which is a vehicle on an opposite side of the vehicle to be a transmission source in relation to the first vehicle and is located at the closest position, the data transmission section transmits the measurement request including the second distance to a third vehicle on a second lane having the same advancing direction as that of the first lane. |
