PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display device capable of reducing a size of an opening-and-closing space of a cover.SOLUTION: A head-up display device 1 includes a housing 2, a cover 3, a combiner 4, and an opening/closing mechanism 5 making the cover 3 an opening-and-closing action. The opening/closing mechanism 5 has pins 32 prepared in the both right-and-left ends of the cover 3, a guide slot 25 which is established in the housing 2 to position the pins 32 movably, a rack 35 prepared on the inside surface of the cover 3 such that a plurality of teeth is ranged in a longitudinal direction of the cover 3, a cover driving gear 11, meshing with the rack 35, a driving means 10 which rotates the cover driving gear 11, and a slide board 6 prepared rotatably on the cover driving gear 11 coaxially. On the cover 3, a slide regulating part 33 is prepared such that the slide board 6 can slide along the inside surface of the cover 3 concerned. |
