PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for manufacturing a member for a tire, by means of which the member for a tire having a predetermined number of tire cords can be manufactured with high precision.SOLUTION: There is provided an apparatus for manufacturing a member for a tire, which includes: a white chalk line drawing means of giving a white mark to a projection part on a surface of a top texture by sticking chalk powder on the projection part; a count means of counting white marks by detecting the white marks in order; a laser irradiation means of displaying a predetermined number of tire cords by irradiating a predetermined number of counted white marks with colored laser light; and cutting means of cutting the top texture for each predetermined number of tire cords while moving a floating knife along the tire cords when cutting the top texture. Further, there is provided a method for manufacturing the member for a tire using the apparatus for manufacturing the member for a tire. |
