PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a packaging container which is formed by joining a funnel part manufactured mainly using a paper in a cup-shaped container body manufactured mainly using a paper.SOLUTION: A funnel part 3 and a container body 2 are formed using a paper and a sheet member including a sealant. When the funnel part 3 is attached to the container body 2, the sealant on an outer face of a side wall part 9 is heated and softened, and the funnel part 3 is held at a chuck 60 in a state where the side wall part 9 of the funnel part is shrunk in a circumferential direction so that the outer diameter of the side wall part 9 becomes smaller than the inner diameter of an open end of the container body 2, the funnel part 3 is inserted into the container body so that a wide-mouth side portion faces a bottom 16 of the container body 2, the side wall part 9 of the funnel part 3 inserted into the container body is expanded, and the side wall part 9 is fixed at an inner face of a side wall 15 of the container body 2 by applying pressure. |
