PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat source machine capable of safely carrying out a combustion operation, even if water seal is not formed.SOLUTION: A heat source machine is constituted as follows: a neutralizer forms a seal water section inside the neutralizer when drain water of a predetermined amount or more is stored to prevent air from passing and the neutralizer includes a water detection means capable of detecting whether there is the drain water; combustion can be carried out by a combustion section with a condition that there is the drain water in the neutralizer; if there is not the drain water in the neutralizer, it is assumed that a portion of the combustion gas is exhausted to the outside through the neutralizer by carrying out the combustion in the combustion section; the concentration of the combustion gas of the outside or the specified concentration of the gas is calculated based on the assumption; and the combustion can be carried out by the combustion section as long as the concentration of the combustion gas or the specified concentration of the gas reaches the predetermined concentration or more. |
