PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing apparatus capable of obtaining a satisfactory moving picture even when a photographic mode is switched during photographing of the moving picture.SOLUTION: A photographing device comprises: a plurality of optical systems movable independently; a plurality of actuators and a plurality of position determining sections configured to control the positions of the optical systems; a plurality of optical system control modes configured to control the positional relations between the optical systems; and a control section configured to control a photographic mode of a moving picture or a still picture. In the photographing device, when a control mode for the positional relations between the optical systems is switched, the control section makes positioning control for the optical systems differ according to the photographic mode.
