PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner that has excellent heat-resistant storage stability and a wide temperature range available for fixing, and can suppress the occurrence of powder dust in high-speed image formation.SOLUTION: A toner contains at least a binder resin, colorant, and ester wax. The ester wax has the heat absorption starting temperature measured by a differential scanning calorimeter of 30°C or more, the dissolution amount to water at 30°C of 0.05 mass% or less, the dissolution amount to ethyl acetate at 30°C of 1.0 mass% or less, and the dissolution amount to a solvent of 50 volume% acetone and 50 volume% methanol at 30°C of 5.0 mass% or less. |
