PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for a hollow fiber membrane module in which the length in the axial direction of a cylindrical case to a hollow fiber membrane is short.SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing a hollow fiber membrane module includes: a step of attaching a cylindrical auxiliary guide 13 having almost the same diameter as the peripheral wall of a cylindrical case 3 on the peripheral wall of the cylindrical case 3 and preparing a columnar body 5 formed by rolling a long hollow fiber membrane knitted fabric centering around a center tube 11 to insert the columnar body 5 in a casing 3 and attaching a resin-containing resin pod 27 to the upper end of the center tube 11; a step of moving the resin in the resin pod 27 to the vicinity of a bottom surface by allowing centrifugal force to act in the bottom surface direction using a centrifugal device to cure the resin; and a step of exposing the hollow fiber membrane by cutting the bottom of the cylindrical case 3 to remove the auxiliary guide 13 and the resin pod 27.
