PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance error correction capability in a receiving apparatus for receiving an OFDM signal.SOLUTION: A receiving apparatus 1 includes an input processing unit 12 for generating a complex baseband signal from an OFDM signal, a transmission path response calculation unit 13 for calculating the transmission path response of each carrier, an equalization unit 14 for generating an estimate of a transmission signal, a noise variance calculation unit 16 for calculating the noise variance of each carrier by multiplying the band noise variance of an OFDM signal by a weighting factor for each carrier, a likelihood ratio calculation unit 18 for calculating the likelihood ratio of each bit transmitted using the carrier noise variance and the estimate of a transmission signal, a reception signal bit rearrangement unit 19 for changing the bit arrangement so that the estimate of a transmission signal corresponds with the modulation system of a transmission signal, a bit noise variance generation unit 20 for outputting the carrier noise variance as a noise variance in unit of bit, and an error correction unit 21 for decoding the estimate of a bit transmitted using the likelihood ratio, the estimate of a transmission signal after bit rearrangement, and the noise variance in unit of bit. |
