PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat plate type solar collector capable of securing preventing a heat collection tube from being damaged or ruptured when not used or in a power failure.SOLUTION: A solar collector is a flat plate type solar collector that includes a casing 1 having an upper surface covered with a transparent sealing plate, a heat insulating material arranged on a bottom side in the casing, and a heat collection tube 4 arranged on a top side of the heat insulating material while leaving a space against the sealing plate, and heats a fluid having been circulated in the heat collection tube with solar heat. An opening part 15 with a lid 5 for ventilation to the space is provided in a side face of the casing 1, and configured to open the opening part 15 by an actuator 8 which operates at a predetermined temperature equal to or lower than a heat resistance temperature of the heat collection tube 4 when the temperature in the space exceeds the predetermined temperature and to closes the opening part 15 when the temperature in the space is equal to or lower than the predetermined temperature. |
