摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a turn-off period to improve a ripple rate without disturbing an input current waveform closely resembling a sinusoidal wave.SOLUTION: A light-emitting diode drive device comprises: second bypass means 22 for controlling the amount of current conduction to a second LED part 12; a first charge/discharge capacitor 111 connected in parallel to a serial connection body for a first LED part 11 and the second LED part 12; and a second charge/discharge capacitor 112 connected in parallel to the second LED part 12 and connected in series to the first LED part 11. The first charge/discharge capacitor 111 is charged when a rectification voltage is larger than the sum of forward voltages of the first LED part 11 and the second LED part 12 and discharged when the rectification voltage is smaller than the sum of forward voltages of the first LED part 11 and the second LED part 12. The second charge/discharge capacitor 112 is charged when the rectification voltage is larger than the forward voltage of the second LED part 12 and discharged when the rectification voltage is smaller than the forward voltage of the second LED part 12.
