PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device capable of performing a partial re-execute of a serial number printing despite the number of serially set character information items, and to provide a printing system, a printer, a method for controlling print and a program.SOLUTION: A control device 100 that instructs serial number printing for performing print while updating character information includes, on an editing screen 91: an increment button 37 and a decrement button 38 for batchedly designating counter values for all the character information serially set on one label L; and a print button 34 that instructs to start the serial number printing from the designated counter value.
