PURPOSE: A character input method and an apparatus thereof are provided to change a shape, a form, or a location of a qwerty keypad which is displayed on a touch panel. CONSTITUTION: A touch panel(100) has a keypad in which input keys are arranged. A controller(500) senses the touch of keys. The controller performs a function such as character display. A touch pattern output unit(300) outputs a touch pattern of a user about each key. A correction unit(400) selects the key according to the touch pattern. The correction unit changes an input area of the key. |
