PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll type expander with a relatively simple structure, a lower energy loss and a higher durability and reliability.SOLUTION: A pump-integrated expander 27 has an expansion unit 50 configured as a scroll type expander. In the expansion unit 50, a working fluid passage 51e that extends from a suction port 51c opening onto the outside to an inlet 51d opening onto an expansion chamber 54 is formed in the base 51a of a fixed scroll 51. Working fluid supplied from the outside is led to the expansion chamber 54 through the working fluid passage 51e. A ball coupling type rotation-prevention mechanism 56 is provided, in which balls are used as rolling members and interposed between the stepped surface 52c of an expander housing 52 and the bases 53a of a movable scroll 53 in order to prevent the rotation of the movable scroll 53 receiving the thrust force that acts on the movable scroll 53. |
