PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply tension to an exterior iron wire of a connection part of a cable body while saving the trouble and time to connect an exterior iron wire and preventing the connection part from being damaged owing to high heat in welding.SOLUTION: Exterior iron wires 15 of one cable are inserted into grooves 5 of a first cylindrical member 1, and the respective exterior iron wires are fixed by welding to the first cylindrical member; and exterior iron wires 16 of the other cable are inserted into grooves 6 of a second cylindrical member 2, and the respective exterior iron wires are fixed by welding to the second cylindrical member. The first cylindrical member and second cylindrical member are rotated in such directions in which the exterior iron wires are twisted more, and a male screw part 7 and a female screw part 8a are threadably coupled so as to connect both the cylindrical members together and also to apply tension to the exterior iron wires of both the cables. |
