PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide surface-coated metal nanoparticles including metal nanoparticles capable of being sintered at a low temperature, on the surfaces of which organic coating films capable of being easily decomposed by a heat treatment at a low temperature in an inert gas atmosphere are arranged.SOLUTION: Surface-coated metal nanoparticles include metal nanoparticles having an average particle diameter of 1-40 nm and organic coating films arranged on surfaces of the metal nanoparticles. The content of the organic coating films is 0.1-7 pts.mass to 100 pts.mass of the metal nanoparticles. The organic coating film contains a fatty acid having 3-8 carbon atoms, and has a thermal decomposition peak temperature of ≤300°C in an inert gas atmosphere. At least 95% by mass of the organic coating film is thermally decomposed at a temperature of 350°C or less in the inert gas atmosphere. |
