PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a door mirror to be held temporarily in a secure and easy manner to improve workability.SOLUTION: A gasket 4 as an elastic body is interposed between a mirror mounting unit 61 disposed on a vehicle door and a mirror base 2 supporting a mirror assembly M to construct a mounting structure in which a door mirror 1 is mounted. A side of the gasket 4 closer to the mirror mounting unit 61 is provided with an extension portion 48 composed of an upper wall 48a, a lower wall 48b, a sidewall 48c, and a front end wall 48d, the upper wall 48a having a projecting piece 49 projecting upward. Inside the extension portion 48, a housing space is formed, which is open toward the mirror base 2. The mirror base 2 has an insertion portion 31 extending toward the mirror mounting unit 61 and housed in the housing space. The insertion portion 31 has an insertion base 33 formed to be lower in height than the housing space so that, when it is housed in the housing space, an allowable space K allowing the projecting piece 49 to elastically deform downward is formed inside the upper wall 48a of the housing space. |
