摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a beam-column joint, which can reduce costs by reducing locations needing an increase in plate thickness due to stress concentration.SOLUTION: A joint, in which a column 2 and a beam 3 each having a rectangular cross-section are joined together, includes: the column 2 which comprises a pair of column flanges 22 and 24 and a pair of column webs 21 and 21; the beam 3 which comprises a pair of beam flanges 23 and 25 and the pair of beam webs 21 and 21; and a diaphragm 27 which is provided in a crossing portion 20 formed by the column 2 and the beam 3. The diaphragm 27, which is inclined with respect to both a material axis direction of the beam 3 and a material axis direction of the column 2, connects the beam flanges 23 and 25 and the column flanges 22 and 24 together.
