PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design support device which contributes to efficiency improvement in reading operation of a screen software of an existing HMI device and restoration operation of a screen specification and a screen image.SOLUTION: An HMI system with an HMI device which displays an HMI screen and transmits an operation signal by a screen operation by a user and a plant control device connected to the HMI device which receives the operation signal and transmits a display signal for displaying display components on the screen to the HMI device has a definition library which is a design support device for supporting in designing a screen software for controlling screen display and previously stores a set of definitions of a program language to write the screen software and reading means for reading the contents written in the screen software by referring to the definition library and outputting it as screen software extraction information. The screen software extraction information includes at least information on display components displayed in the screen. |
