PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for chucking rod-shaped member and a method for chucking the same more appropriately fixing a rod-shaped member to a chuck tool.SOLUTION: A device for chucking rod-shaped member includes a case 3-i with a bottom lid face 11 formed in it, and a chuck tool 17 formed with an upper lid face 22. The bottom lid face 11 is formed into a recessed face. The upper lid face 22 is formed into a recessed face. When the rod-shaped member 25 is inserted into the case 3-i, such a device for chucking rod-shaped member moves the rod-shaped member 25 to a predetermined position relative to the chuck tool 17 by nipping the rod-shaped member 25 between the bottom lid face 11 and the upper lid face 22. The chuck tool 17 fixes the rod-shaped member 25 when the rod-shaped member 25 which is inserted into the case 3-i is being nipped between the bottom lid face 11 and the upper lid face 22. Such a device for chucking rod-shaped member can more appropriately fix the rod-shaped member 25 to the chuck tool 17 such that the rod-shaped member 25 is arranged at the predetermined position relative to the chuck tool 17. |
