PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device of a sheet object to be held as a roll which can stop an object to be transferred at a correct position during reverse transfer.SOLUTION: A transfer device holding a sheet object as a roll has a driving roller delivering the sheet object from the roll, a driven roller of the driving roller, a rotation detector to detect the rotation rate of the driven roller, a roll rotating section rewinding the delivered sheet object, and a control section controlling the driving of the driving roller and the roll rotating section. The control section decides the rotation rate of the roll rotating section when receiving an rewind instruction, decides the timing of starting the deceleration of the roll rotating section as the amount of transfer, and starts the deceleration of the roll rotating section at a time when the total amount of the transfer of the sheet object which is known by the detection value of the rotation detector reaches the decided amount of transfer after the driving of the roll rotating section is started. |
