PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weight sorter that can improve its throughput.SOLUTION: This weight sorter includes a plurality of measuring conveyors 1, a plurality of weight sensors 2 to measure the weights of articles to be measured on the measuring conveyors 1, a first and second standby conveyors 3a, 3b, a first and second discharge conveyors 13a, 13b, and a control unit 5. The control unit determines which rank of from a first rank to a fourth rank the articles to be measured on the measuring conveyors 1 belong to, has a first rank article to be measured discharged via the first standby conveyor 3a and conveyed to the arrow c direction by the first discharge conveyor 13a, has a second rank article to be measured discharged via the first standby conveyor 3a and conveyed to the arrow d direction by the first discharge conveyor 13a, has a third rank article to be measured discharged via the second standby conveyor 3b and conveyed to the arrow c direction by the second discharge conveyor 13b, and has a fourth rank article to be measured discharged via the second standby conveyor 3b and conveyed to the arrow d direction by the second discharge conveyor 13b. |
