PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping material attachable to a high-temperature portion, such as a transmission part, a gear box, or an exhaust gas pipe of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A damping material is formed of a restriction layer and an adhesive layer. The adhesive layer includes (a) a butyl rubber, (b) a tackifier made of terpene-based resin and C5-fraction aliphatic petroleum resin, (c) an adhesion promoter having adhesion-improving action, and made of two kinds of polybutene resins having different molecular mass, (d) a fiber component composed of an organic fiber and a glass fiber, (e) a carbon material, (f) a softening agent, and (g) an inorganic filler, and is available for a wide temperature range. |
