摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy saving controller of an elevator that reduces energy consumption by prompting users to ride together while setting a cage load at which an energy saving effect is high as an upper limit.SOLUTION: An energy saving controller of an elevator includes: an imaging means provided near an elevator platform for an elevator and imaging passengers near the elevator platform; a riding passenger determination means of determining whether there is a riding passenger who takes a prescribed action within an imaging range of the imaging means when there is a passenger in a cage stopping at the elevator platform; an energy saving effective cage load determination means of determining a maximum value of a load which is effective in the energy saving of the cage from positions of a plurality of cages and cage load states of other cages; and a car-sharing wait determination means of determining whether the maximum value of the load effective in energy saving is larger than the load of the cage detected by the load determination means when a passenger who is scheduled to ride is detected, and keeping the cage in a wait state and also keeping the doors of the cage fully opened when the maximum value is larger than the load of the cage.
