摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface coated cutting tool applicable for an energization type touch sensor.SOLUTION: A surface coated cutting tool capable of using an energization type touch sensor has laminated hard coating layers comprising, from the tool substrate surface side, (a) single layer or laminated layer having an average total layer thickness of 1 to 10 μm and comprising complex nitride of Al, Cr, and M and expressed by (AlCrM)N (where; M indicates 1 or more added ingredients chosen from elements, Si, B, and Y of 4a, 5a, and 6a groups in the periodic table except Al and Cr, α indicates a content rate of Al, and &bgr; indicates a content rate of M and they satisfy relations; 0.30≤α≤0.99, 0.01≤&bgr;≤0.1 in atomic ratio), (b) a Ti nitride layer or carbonitride layer having an average layer thickness of 0.1 μm or more, and (c) a complex nitride layer of Al, Cr, and M having an average layer thickness of 0.1 to 0.5 μm and expressed by (AlCrM)N (where; M, α, and &bgr; are the same as above).
