PURPOSE: An apparatus for forming a corrugated pipe and a method for forming the corrugated pipe using the same are provided to arrange corrugations at regular intervals to improve product quality. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for forming a corrugated pipe comprises a base frame, a rotary unit(120), a guide rail(130), a support unit(140), a forming unit(150), a pressure unit(160), and a control unit(180). The rotary unit is placed at the upper end of the base frame, and comprises a through hole inside. The guide rail is formed along the upper part of the base frame. The support unit moves along the guide rail, and a support bar(144) is placed on the other end of the base frame. The forming unit is placed between the rotary unit and the support unit, and moves along the guide rail to form corrugations. The pressure unit applies pressure to the pipe in a longitudinal direction so that the corrugations are formed at regular intervals. The control unit controls the pressure unit, forming unit, and rotary unit. |
