PURPOSE: A guidance display system and a control method thereof are provided to enable a driver to safely drive a car on a curved road by controlling the output of a light source depending on the time of day and the concentration of fog. CONSTITUTION: A guidance display system(100) comprises a main body unit(110), direction guidance display units(160), road surface display units(170), and a guidance display control unit. The direction guidance display units are installed on both sides of the top end of the main body unit and guide a car traveling on a curved road. The road surface display units are installed on both sides of the bottom end of the main body unit and irradiate the surface of the curved road with light. The guidance display control unit outputs an operation control signal for the direction guidance display units and the road surface display units. |
