LIQUID CRYSTAL LENS PANEL

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal lens panel is provided to appreciate a 3 dimensional (3D) stereoscopic image without glasses or to appreciate a 2D flat image. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal lens panel has a lens layer. The lens layer comprises a liquid crystal area which is formed by a liquid crystal molecule. The liquid crystal area is mutually switched to a cholesteric orientation area (300) which is homeotropic-oriented having a focal distance of 0.1 mm to 100 and an area which is not cholesteric-oriented. The cholesteric orientation area comprises the cholesteric-oriented liquid crystal molecule. The cholesteric-oriented liquid crystal molecule is layered and has an oriented helical structure while a director of the liquid crystal molecule is twisted along a helical axis.
